Mayor Pete had me at "hello." He has a "secret sauce" that makes him standout, much like Barack Obama did back in the aughts. So far, I have been impressed with how visible he's been in his role as Sect'y of Transportation. Though I was underwhelmed with the response to the East Palestine rail disaster, I think he I think he learned his lesson and will make up for it with this one.
In So Cal after the big quake in the 90's, they repaired infrastructure in record time... BTW see Season 2 of The Wire.
