Well done Cuz. I know when I moved from Ohio to Florida I missed the hikes in the dense forest and that musty Ohio forest smell. When I moved back to Ohio years later I found I missed the sandy soil and salty Gulf air. North Carolina seems to be the happy medium for me now. As always, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Wow - what a moving piece. I am glad nobody is nearby, because i am tearing up. I know your route, you and i walked it together as we marveled at the at the technology of the "flip phone". Thirty years before that our high cross country team ran on that same course and on that day, we were the best team from San Jose to Oregon (all divisions).

So what do we have?; we have alot, wonderful friends and the richest memories made more clear because we are immersed in gratitude.
